Au revoir, Europe!
I’m so sad! I feel like it has only been a few weeks, but already we’re at our last Europe stop of the entire trip - Paris!! Paris is a really beautiful city, and it is one of my fave stops on our trip!
While in Paris, we mainly filled our days with🚶🏻♀️, 🛍️, and 🍽️. We had a lot of yummy food, including the first night when we had a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower and another day when we tried all the best pastry shops. My favorite things were probably the macarons, the crepes, or the eclairs - so hard to decide! Besides eating, we also got matching permanent bracelets, and of course, I couldn’t resist another Flying Tiger - and I made my cousins come with me! ( p.s. If Saylor, Emmy, and Dean are reading this, did it live up to your expectations?)
First day in Paris! For some weird reason, the sunset lasted an hour, or at least to me. We went to a fancy French grocery store and picnicked here.
Cuzins in front of the Louve! We didn’t go in because we didn’t have tickets, but we still saw it.
Looking through Emmy’s stuff from the Paris Flying Tiger.
Getting permanent bracelets! All the girls got one with gold chain and a gold heart charm.
Being silly in front of notre dame! This was the night the mom cuzins went out to dinner together. We went to dinner with the dads and made plans to go on a river boat cruise, but we were too slow of walkers and missed it.
Food pics
Mia reaching for the macarons at Pierre Hermé. The yummy-est one was Isfahan, and it was so yummy we had to get it 3 or 4 more times.
Near the Eiffel tower, there is a chain gelato shop that sells flower shaped gelatos. It was really yummy! I had passionfruit mango lemon.
Saylor eating an escargot. No, it doesn’t have snails, but it is spiral and has pistachio.
Frog legs! My dad promised us each 1 euro if we tried a frog leg, but we bargained it up to 2 euros. It tasted like chicken.
On the last day, we stopped for lunch at this little bar where you order from the ceiling. Another intresting thing abut it is that I’ve been here before! (when i was 1, that is.)
Watching French crepe making. We had a brown sugar one and a strawberry nutella one. I liked them both equally.
Yummy eclairs… if you were in paris and went to this shop, then the shop to right of it would be Flying Tiger!
Mia eying an incroyable (that means amazing in French) croissant 🥐
