Pass the pici

This is our little mini post on Tuscany. My sister had been waiting patiently for two years to eat pici pasta again, and she got it! Pici pasta is a type of Italian pasta that is kinda like udon noodles, and as far as we know, has 2 rules: 1) it can only be found in Tuscany, and only Tuscany (Umbria is 15 minutes away and we didn’t see a single trace of pici), 2) it has to be hand made, beause otherwise, it dosn’t taste like pici.

After Umbria, we made a little stop in Tuscany, and we stayed at a hotel that you can only stay in if you are 7+. You know how there is sometimes an annoying American family at hotels? Well, this time, we were that family. All we did was go to the pool, visit a town named Cortona, and for Mia, eat 3 plates of pici in two days. That’s all! Even shorter than Bergen, right?

Mia with her pici!

Mia took a yoga class with our mom at the hotel, while my dad and I chilled in our room, and then went to the garden to watch them.

In Cortona, we went to a restaurant where the most interesting thing about it was the creepy bathroom.

The door actually creaks a little when you go inside.
